Hell and all that damnable stuff

Posted by MrLuke on 4th March 2011 in Blogging | hell, afterlife, death, God, Jesus
...tament as part of one of my courses and that just added to confusion. The afterlife is a vert strange concept in the OT. But I never got to study the New Testament concept of hell. Now I'm taking the opportunity to really study it all properly and find what the Scriptures do teach rather than me just thinking of all the people who have said "well the bible says ... Doesn't it?" and never really being sure of what it really DOES say. I mean, obviously I known of the places where Jesus does speak of the afterlife but what I'm doing now is looking at everything as a whole rather than isolated verses and incidents. A f...

Posted by MrLuke on 18th March 2013 in Blogging | ancient texts, church history, extra biblical
...The Orthodox and Catholics have all the books from the Septuagint, which is what most of the early Christians would have known regarding the Old Testament. ...new. Best part is, all of his products are reasonably priced!     Patchology FlashPatch Eye Gels - I can’t even begin tell you how many different eye creams I have spent too much money on in attempt to deflate the puffiness in my under eyes. When I discovered these eye gels, I bid farewell to those mornings when it was evident I didn’t get a full 8-hours of sleep. I love the cooling effect of these eye gels and after applying one pair for a short 5 minutes, it leaves some serum behind to smooth right into your skin. I put these on either at night after a face mask or in the morning immediately after washing my face. I follow-up with a spritz of rosewate...
