How is it that theologians with a futurist view of eschatology… decided that all throughout the New Testament the term “this generation” DOES mean the first-century generation EXCEPT for Matthew 23:36 and Matthew 24:34 (Also Mark 13:30 and Luke 21:32)?
These two “time texts” form book ends for the “sign texts” in between…
(Matt. 23:36) “Truly I say to you, all these things shall come upon this generation.”
(Matt. 24:34) “Truly I say to you, this generation will not pass away until all these things take place.”
