Badly misrepresented the Korean Hyosung GT125R is a great first bike. In the bike park, with the looks and size of a modern sportsbike the fully faired GT125R stands its own alongside the big 4's 600 race reps. On the road its physical size makes it heavy but with decent aftermarket tyres it proves to be a capable bike. Build quality is better than expected, with a bulletproof 4stroke 2Cylinder engine and twin carbs the Hyo's reliability shines through added to by USD forks and a digital dash. As a sportsbike its performance is improved with a change of sprockets and exhaust and will top out at just under 80, with good wind protection, a reasonable riding position with adjustable footpegs. Full-size, fun to ride, cheap to run and insure, with a growing network of dealers the GT125R makes a perfect first bike.

the Hyosung gt125r is a perfect bike both for comfort and looks, it looks sounds and feels like a bigger bike, more around the 600cc mark, which is great because when i pass my test i don't need to run out and buy a bigger bike, although i have to admit the gt650r and even the gt250r are very alluring, the top speed i've got out of mine was 74mph but i have to admit it was screaming it can get upto about 65mph comfortably, it has great handling and seems to perform well in all weathers i do about 80-100 miles per week on it. i am a member of the uk owners club and if you own a hyosung we would love you to join there is regular meet ups and rallies, any many discussions taking place on the forum pop along and join us at http://ukhyo-ownersclub.co.uk
